- 1 kg Ballast weight with lifting eye allows attachment of additional weight for sampling deep water in strong currents
- Alternatively, deploy Horizontal Water Sampler off a bridge in flowing water with “toggle release” feature; A sharp-tug on the towline actuates sampler closure without a messenger
